Teachers in Egypt will be able to become ICDL certified under a new partnership between ICDL Arabia and the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education.

‘ICDL Teachers’ will help build the digital skills, capabilities and competencies of teachers and employees at the Ministry. The profile consists of 9 ICDL modules. The project was officially started with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr Tarek Shawki, and the Director General of ICDL Arabia, Jamil Ezzo.
From 2019 onwards, anyone wanting to be employed as a teacher in Egypt must have an ‘ICDL Teachers’ certificate.
