Ibn Sina University in Sudan adopts ICDL


Specto, the ICDL operator in a number of Arab States, has signed an agreement with Ibn Sina University in Sudan to deliver ICDL to its students. The initiative started in 2020 with training of the trainers and the university staff. Starting from this year, they will adopt the ICDL programme for first-year students to replace the computer skills course.

Ibn Sina was established in 2000, and it is located in Khartoum in two campuses. According to the statistical records in June 2020, the total number of students registered in all faculties and programs in Ibn Sina University is 6,060. Each year around 2,000 students register in the university. The accreditation of Ibn Sina university will have a positive impact on the market in Sudan.
